If you are currently working on your eating disorder or disordered eating recovery in Georgia, here are a few of our top recommended activities for challenging your ED, practicing self-care, and just having fun!
ACTIVITY #1: Try a new restaurant
When you feel ready, challenge your ED by trying one new food item at a time. One of our favorite places to eat is BoccaLupo for their Southern Chicken Parmesan!
ACTIVITY #2: Take a visit in nature
Having an eating disorder can be very consuming. Making time to see some nature in a place like the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta can help with lowering stress and improving mood.
ACTIVITY #3: Visit a theme park
If you are feeling adventurous, and medically cleared by a medical provider, try visiting a theme park like Six Flags Over Georgia with loved ones. Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in new settings are ways you can practice nourishment for your mind, body, and soul.
